Arrival time is between 3pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays) on your day of arrival. We may be able to accommodate later arrivals by prior arrangement. Departure time is before 10am. Please phone/email 7 days prior to your arrival with approx arrival time and confirm number of people staying.
WiFi is available for up to 8 devices free of charge. The connection speed will vary at busy times.
We have a ‘no smoking’ policy inside our holiday. Please smoke outside.
We understand accidents can happen. Please report all breakages/damage to Reception. We ask for payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair of the item.
Yes, there is private parking for 2 cars. Further shared parking is available on request.
The maximum number of people is strictly limited to 8.
The Caravan Park is open 1st March to 31st October (the cottage is open all year round). The reception/shop opening times vary during the season but are generally 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays). Opening times are displayed in the Reception window. However, we try to take phone calls from 9am to 9pm each day, all year round.
We do have a cafe and licensed bar (only accessible if you are having a meal or takeaway with us) at the adjacent Mill, which provides home cooked food. Menu for download here. Please check if this is open during your stay.
Alternatively, there are three pubs/restaurants, a café and a fish & chip shop within 10-15 min walk in Osmotherley village.
One dog is welcome to stay although we do charge an additional £20 for the extra cleaning. Please also refer to our park rules and ensure:
A deposit is required to make a firm, confirmed reservation. A minimum deposit of £250 per week is required. On receipt of the deposit we will send to you a booking confirmation.
The balance is due 2 months before arrival. Unfortunately we are not able to send reminders.

We make every effort to make your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
By making a booking, you agree that we may store and use your information as required to complete your booking and allow you to stay. We may also use your information to contact you from time to time to inform you of our services. Please advise us if you do not want this kind of communication.
By making a payment or entering onto the Park/Cottage you agree to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules or creating a nuisance, to leave the Park/Cottage without refund.
All customers, guests and visitors enter the Park/Cottage at their own risk. The Park/Cottage does not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property caused outside the reasonable control of the Park/Cottage owner which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll. The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
