Terms & Conditions (Holiday Hire Caravans & Cottage)
Bookings:
Are accepted/declined at our discretion.
Deposits:
A deposit must be paid within 7 days of the reservation. A minimum deposit of £100 per week is required. On receipt of the deposit we will send you a booking confirmation.
Balance:
The balance is due 28 days before arrival. We do not send reminders.
Payment methods:
Payment can be made by cash, cheques (payable to 'Cote Ghyll Caravan Park') or debit/credit card (2% charge applies to credit cards).
If you cancel with minimum 8 weeks notice, we will refund in full
If you cancel with minimum 6 weeks notice, a 50% refund will be given
If you cancel with less than 6 weeks notice, there will be no refund
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance
Arrival:
Arrival time is between 3pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays) on your day of arrival. We may be able to accommodate later arrivals by prior arrangement. For cottage guests, please phone/email 4 days prior to your arrival with approx arrival time and your preferred bed configurations ie. number of single/double beds.
Departure:
Departure time is before 10am.
Accommodation:
Strictly limited to maximum 6 people for the holiday caravans and maximum 8 people for the cottage.
No Smoking:
We have a 'no smoking' policy inside our caravans & cottage. Please smoke outside.
Breakages/damage:
We understand accidents can happen. Please report all breakages/damage to Reception. We ask for payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair of the item.
Dogs:
We have one 'dog friendly' caravan. There is an additional cleaning charge of £20 per dog. Please also refer to our 'Site Rules' and ensure:
Your dog does not sit on any furniture or beds
Your dog is never left alone in the caravan
Your dog is always on a lead on the Park
The remaining caravans are 'pet free'.
BBQs/Fires:
BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the grass at all times. Absolutely no fires.
Visitors:
All visitors are requested to report to Reception and pay the appropriate fee. All Site Rules, Terms and Conditions apply to visitors. All visitors to leave the park before 9pm.
Security barrier:
The barrier is locked at night.
Complaints:
We make every effort to make your stay as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
Data Protection:
By making a booking, you agree that we may store and use your information as required to complete your booking and allow you to stay. We may also use your information tom contact you from time to time to inform you of our services. Please advise us if you do not want this kind of communication.
General:
By making a payment or entering onto the park you have to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules, or creating a nuisance to leave the Park/Cottage without refund.
All customers, guests and visitors enter the Park/Cottage at their own risk. The Park does not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property caused outside the reasonable control of the Park owner which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll.
The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
