Essential Information

What time can we arrive/depart?

Arrival time is between 1pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays). It will be assumed your reservation is cancelled if you have not notified us by 7pm of any required late arrival. Please contact us if you need to arrange a late arrival. Departure time is before 12pm (noon). Late departures may be possible during quiet times but must be arranged prior to 12pm on your departure day.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads on the Park at all times and are not allowed in any park buildings. No fouling is allowed on the Park – accidents to be cleaned up immediately. ‘Fighting dog’ breeds are not allowed.

Can we have a BBQ or campfire?

You are welcome to have a BBQ, but we ask that it is raised off the ground to prevent grass damage. Please use BBQ in well ventilated areas only, and never take a lit or smouldering BBQ inside a tent. Unfortunately, fire-pits and campfires are not permitted.

Can I get WiFi on my pitch?

WiFi is available from your pitch for a modest charge. A prepaid voucher can be purchased from the shop. The connection speed will vary at busy times.

Can we bring two cars?

You can bring more than one car. The maximum number of cars allowed is 2 per pitch (the second car incurs an additional charge as stated on the Price List).

Can we have visitors when we’re on holiday?

Day visitors are welcome, but must be booked-in and paid for at Reception. Day visitors must leave the Park by 8pm. All Site Rules, Terms and Conditions apply to visitors.

How many people are allowed per pitch?

A maximum of 6 people are allowed per pitch (including visitors).

What time is the shop and reception open?

The opening times vary but are generally 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays). Opening times are displayed in the Reception window. However, we try to take phone calls from 9am to 9pm each day.

What time do the shower blocks close and do we need tokens?

The showers are open all day and are free.

Can we walk to the pub?

We do have a cafe and licensed bar (only accessible if you are having a meal or takeaway with us) at the adjacent Mill, which provides home cooked food. Menu for download here. Please check if this is open during your stay.

Alternatively, there are three pubs/restaurants, a café and a fish & chip shop within 10-15 min walk in Osmotherley village.
