What time can we arrive/depart?
You can arrive at your North Yorkshire holiday home between 3pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays). We may be able to accommodate later arrivals when you call us in advance. Departure time is before 10am. Please phone/email 7 days prior to your arrival with approx arrival time and confirm number of people staying.
Can I get WiFi in the holiday cottage?
Yes. You’ll find free WiFi for up to 8 devices in our Yorkshire holiday home. The connection speed will vary at busy times.
Can I smoke in the cottage?
We have a ‘no smoking’ policy inside our holiday. Please smoke outside.
What if I break something?
We understand accidents can happen, so we don’t make a fuss about it. Please report all breakages/damage to Reception. We ask for payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair of the item.
Is there private parking?
Yes, there is private parking for 2 cars. Further shared parking is available on request.
How many people are allowed to stay in Cote Ghyll Holiday Cottage?
The maximum number of people is strictly limited to 8.
What time is the shop and reception open?
Our North Yorkshire caravan park is open 1st March to 31st October (the cottage is open all year round). The reception/shop opening times vary during the season but are generally 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays). Opening times are displayed in the Reception window. However, we try to take phone calls from 9am to 9pm each day, all year round.
Can we walk to the pub?
Yes, although we do have a cafe and licensed bar (only accessible if you are having a meal or takeaway with us) at the adjacent Mill (our base for group holiday accommodation), which provides home cooked food. Download the menu here. Please check if this is open during your stay.
Alternatively, there are three pubs/restaurants, a café and a fish and chip shop within 10-15 min walk in Osmotherley village.
Can I bring my dog?
One dog is welcome to stay in our Yorkshire holiday accommodation although we do charge an additional £20 for the extra cleaning. Please also refer to our park rules and ensure:
We ask for a minimum deposit of £250 per week to confirm your reservation of our North Yorkshire holiday home. On receipt of the deposit we will send to you a booking confirmation.
The balance is due 2 months before arrival. Please phone us on 01609 883425 to pay the balance.
You can book and pay online at www.coteghyll.com . Alternatively, book by phone and pay the deposit or balance by debit card, BACS (sort code: 20-61-46, account no: 53084701 reference: your surname), cheque (payable: Cote Ghyll) or cash.
If you cancel your stay at our North Yorkshire holiday home, the following conditions will apply:
We recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Are accepted/declined at our discretion.
We make every effort to make your stay at our Yorkshire holiday accommodation as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
By making a booking, you agree that we may store and use your information as required to complete your booking and allow you to stay. We may also use your information to contact you from time to time to inform you of our services. Please advise us if you do not want this kind of communication.
By making a payment or entering onto our Yorkshire holiday park and/or the cottage you agree to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules or creating a nuisance, to leave the park/cottage without refund.
All customers, guests and visitors enter our North Yorkshire caravan park and/or our holiday cottage at their own risk. We do not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property caused outside the reasonable control of the park/cottage owner which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll. The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
