- When are you open?

Cote Ghyll Cottage is open all year round.
- What time can we arrive/depart?

You can arrive between 4pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays). We may be able to accommodate later arrivals when you call us in advance. Departure time is before 10am. Please phone/email 7 days prior to your arrival with approx arrival time and confirm number of people staying.
- Can I get WiFi in the holiday cottage?

Yes. You’ll find free WiFi for up to 8 devices in our Cote Ghyll Cottage. The connection speed will vary at busy times and the WiFi generally isn’t suitable for streaming.
- Can I smoke in the cottage?

We have a ‘no smoking’ policy. Please smoke outside.
- What if I break something?

We understand accidents can happen, so we don’t make a fuss about it. Please report all breakages/damage to Reception. We ask for payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair of the item.
- Is there private parking?

Yes, there is private parking for 2 cars. Further shared parking is available on request.
- How many people are allowed to stay in the Cote Ghyll Cottage?

The maximum number of people is strictly limited to 8.
- What time is the shop and reception open?

The cottage is open all year round and we try to take phone calls all year round from 9am – 9pm. The shop/reception is open between 1st March to 31st October, 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays) although times can vary during the season. Opening times are displayed in the Reception window.
- Can we walk to the pub?

Yes, although we do have a cafe and licensed bar (only accessible if you are having a meal or takeaway with us) at the adjacent Mill (our base for group holiday accommodation), which provides home cooked food. Download the menu here. Please check if this is open during your stay.
Alternatively, there are three pubs/restaurants, a café and a fish and chip shop within 10-15 min walk in Osmotherley village.
- Can I bring my dog?

A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Cote Ghyll Cottage. The charge is £40 per dog. Please ensure:
- Your dog does not sit on any furniture or beds
- Your dog is never left alone in the cottage
- Your dog is always on a lead within the caravan park
