When is your North Yorkshire caravan site open?
You have a choice of two season lengths at our static caravan site in Yorkshire:
What time can we arrive/depart Cote Ghyll static caravan site?
Arrival time is between 3pm and 7pm (8pm Fridays) on your day of arrival. We may be able to accommodate later arrivals if you let us know in advance. Departure time is before 10am.
Can I get WiFi in my holiday caravan?
Yes. WiFi is available across most of our Yorkshire caravan site for a modest charge and you can buy a prepaid voucher from the site shop. Please note that connection speeds will vary at busy times.
Can I smoke in my caravan?
We have a ‘no smoking’ policy inside all the static caravans at our Yorkshire caravan park. Please smoke outside.
What if I break something?
We understand accidents can happen. Please report all breakages/damage to Reception. We ask for payment to cover the cost of replacement or repair of the item.
Can we bring two cars?
Yes, up to a maximum number of 2 cars per static holiday caravan.
Can we have visitors when we’re on holiday?
Day visitors are welcome but must be booked in at Reception. Day visitors must leave our Yorkshire caravan park by 8pm. Whilst they are onsite, all Site Rules and Terms and Conditions apply to visitors.
How many people are allowed to stay in a holiday caravan?
The maximum number of people per static caravan is strictly limited to 6.
What time is the shop and reception open?
Opening times vary but are generally 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays). Opening times are displayed in the Reception window. However, we try to take phone calls from 9am to 9pm each day.
Can we walk to the pub?
We do have a cafe and licensed bar (only accessible if you are having a meal or takeaway with us) at the adjacent Mill, which provides home cooked food. Menu for download here. Please check if this is open during your stay.
Alternatively, there are three pubs/restaurants, a café and a fish & chip shop within 10-15 min walk in Osmotherley village.
The security barrier at the entrance of our caravan site in North Yorkshire is locked at night.
Can I bring my dog?
We have one dog friendly caravan. To secure it, please tell us you are bringing a dog when you book and pay. There is an additional cleaning charge of £20 per dog.

The remaining caravans are ‘pet free’.
Please pay a minimum deposit of £100 per week to make a firm, confirmed reservation. On receipt of the deposit we will send to you a booking confirmation.
The balance is due 2 months before arrival. Please phone us to pay the balance.
You can book and pay online at www.coteghyll.com. Alternatively, book by phone and pay the deposit or balance by debit card, BACS (sort code: 20-61-46, account no: 53084701 reference: your surname), cheque (payable: Cote Ghyll) or cash.
Cancellation Policy (for holiday caravans & cottage)
Are accepted/declined at our discretion.
We make every effort to make your stay in our Yorkshire static caravans as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
By making a booking, you agree that we may store and use your information as required to complete your booking and allow you to stay. We may also use your information to contact you from time to time to inform you of our services. Please advise us if you do not want this kind of communication.
By making a payment or entering onto our caravan site in North Yorkshire, you agree to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules or creating a nuisance, to leave the Park without refund.
All customers, guests and visitors enter our Yorkshire caravan park at their own risk. The Park does not accept any responsibility for any personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property caused outside the reasonable control of the Park owner which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll. The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
