Camping at Cote Ghyll Mill

Within the beautiful grounds at Cote Ghyll Mill, we offer five small camping pitches, suitable for walkers or cyclists looking for great value camping. Our two-person grass pitches are close to the Mill and offer the benefit of use of the Mill facilities. Please note that the Mill camping pitches are grass only and have no electricity or other supplies.

Camping with perks!

Campers at the Mill can make use of the facilities within the Mill, toilet/shower facilities are available, and towels are also available to hire. The Mill Kitchen serves hot breakfast, evening meals and offers snacks and packed lunches (ask for details). There is also a self-catering kitchen where you can make your own food and brew a hot drink. Within the Mill there is a laundry and drying room, TV lounge and licensed bar.

Cote Ghyll is surrounded by some of the best walking and cycling routes the UK has to offer. Surrounded by trails, woodland and the breathtaking North York Moors you’ll be spoilt for choice. We are an excellent stop-off point for anyone tackling the the 182 mile The Coast to Coast Walk, and the beginning (or end) of the Lyke Wake Walk is only 15 min walk away.

Is there access to running water?

There is access to running water within Cote Ghyll Mill. The camping pitches at the Mill don’t have facilities.

Are there electricity hook-up points?

You can use the power supply in the Mill for charging phones and equipment.  There are no power points on the pitches.

Do I have to pay extra to use facilities within The Mill?

There is a charge for use of the laundry facilities, everything else is included.

Is there on-site parking?

Parking is provided for one car, free of charge.
