The Mill Bed & Breakfast is fully equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant stay. A delicious home cooked, full English breakfast is included, we have a separate lounge and TV room and our relaxing atrium residents bar is perfect for chilling after a long day enjoying the great British outdoors. WiFi is free for all guests and helpful, friendly staff are always on hand happy to help out.
Every bedroom comes with its own private en-suite, so you can freshen up in comfort whenever you like. Each bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin and WC, plus a handy hairdryer. We’ve also thought of the little extras – soft towels and complimentary toiletries – so you can pack light and still feel at home.
We’re proud of our 5-star food hygiene rating! Breakfast is the heart of the day here, and we love sending our guests out well-fed and happy. Each morning you’ll be welcomed into the dining room by the smell of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon. Our home-cooked full English breakfast is included in your stay – think golden eggs, juicy sausages, crispy hash browns, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms, all served with plenty of toast and a pot of tea or coffee.
If you’d prefer something a little lighter, we’ve got cereals, fruit and yoghurt on offer too. Whatever you choose, it’s all prepared with care to set you up perfectly for the adventures ahead.

After a day of exploring, our bar is the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. It’s relaxed and friendly – somewhere you can enjoy a well-earned beer, a glass of wine, or a cosy hot drink. We’ve got a good selection of beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks, and there’s always a warm atmosphere that makes it easy to strike up a chat with fellow guests or simply enjoy a quiet moment to yourself.
Whether you’re toasting the end of a big walk or just fancy a drink before bed, our bar is your home-from-home.

Freshly baked pizzas are available to order every Friday and Saturday (Easter–September) and nightly during school holidays.
Cook your own meals
Our fully equipped self catering kitchen is available should you wish to cook your own meals during your stay. You’ll find a large range of food, bread, drinks and frozen meals available from the neighbouring caravan park shop which is open from 1st March to 31st October. Alternatively, you can cook your own frozen meal, we offer a selection of tasty meals ready to reheat and enjoy in our dining area.
Walk to the local pub
If you love the great outdoors, enjoy a walk to the village of Osmotherley, just 15 minutes walk from the Bed & Breakfast, where you will find three welcoming pubs serving a range of bar meals.
Complimentary tea & coffee is always available for guests to enjoy.
Unwind in our cosy lounge, where you’ll find a fully licensed bar serving drinks and light refreshments, along with maps, snacks, and little keepsakes to make your stay even more enjoyable.
Our cosy TV lounge is the perfect spot to relax, with a large flat-screen TV, and a choice of toys, books, and games for all ages. You’ll also find plenty of local guides and leaflets to inspire your adventures. For a little friendly competition, head to our games area with a pool table and classic family games.

Camping by the stream – five scenic pitches with full use of The Mill B&B facilities.
On the adjacent Caravan Park (open March–October) you’ll find a well-stocked shop, dog grooming room, children’s play areas and more.
Sauna – treat yourself to a little luxury with our sauna (£10 midweek / £15 weekends & holidays for 45 minutes, up to 10 people. Pre-booking required). The sauna is open between 1 March and 31 October.
