Arrival time are our Yorkshire youth hostel is from 5pm at the Mill reception. Last arrival is 9pm when Mill reception closes. Please contact us if you will be late and we can make alternative arrangements. If you’re not here by 9pm and you haven’t told us of any late arrival we will assume your reservation is cancelled.
Departure time from the Mill is by 10am. (For guests with exclusive hire of our North Yorkshire group accommodation, departure time is by 12pm).
No. We provide all bed linen – please do not bring your own. If you’ve made an individual or family booking we will make your bed up for you. For exclusive hire and group accommodation bookings, we supply all the bed linen for your group to make their own beds. Please strip beds prior to your departure.
Yes, the charge is £2 each. Please ask at Reception.
Free Wi-Fi is throughout the building with internet content filtering to protect our younger visitors.
Yes. There is a secure key pad on the Reception door. On your arrival, you will be given the code and only checked-in guests have 24 hour access into the building.
Breakfast and evening meals are available at The Mill Kitchen.
We are 5 star food hygiene rated.
5pm to 9pm. We are fully licensed and sell a good selection of beers and wines.

There is a coin operated washing machine and tumble drier in the drying room.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed inside Cote Ghyll Mill.
Cote Ghyll Mill is next door to our Yorkshire campsite with its well-stocked park shop. It’s open daily from 9am to 5.30pm (7.30pm on Fridays) from 1st March to 31st October.
Osmotherley is a 10-15 minute walk away. There are 3 pubs/restaurants (The Three Tuns, The Queen Catherine and The Golden Lion).
You’ll also find the Osmotherley Fish & Chip shop, a cafe (Tea & Coffee shop) and a general store called Top Shop.
It’s on the doorstep of Cote Ghyll Mill. This leads to Cod Beck Reservoir, the start of the Lyke Wake Walk (1 mile away) and to the Cleveland Way (0.4 miles away).
Yes. Our Yorkshire youth hostel (which we like to describe as a family or group hostel in Yorkshire as it is for all ages) is part of the Youth Hostel YHA Enterprise network. We are fully compliant with YHA and Hambleton District Council Health & Safety requirements.
