The barrier is locked at night.
We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Please be aware that filming or photography including the use of drones may be in progress during your stay. Should you not wish to appear in any such material please notify us by email on or before your arrival at Cote Ghyll.
If you plan to store your caravan at Cote Ghyll, your caravan must be insured against loss or damage whilst in storage or transit. The movement of stored caravans is done entirely at the owner’s risk. No liability for damage or loss will be accepted by Cote Ghyll Caravan Park.
Are accepted/declined at our discretion.
We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Please Note: We do not accept group bookings under any circumstances, even individually booked for the same dates. If we become aware of a group then each booking will be cancelled and guests will not be admitted to the Park.

We define groups as being an organised official group having a constitution or memorandum and comprising 16 people or more.
Each group accommodation booking will have a nominated group leader, who is responsible for making and overseeing the booking, including financial and legal responsibility.
Group leaders accompanying the group are responsible for the discipline and behaviour of their group.

The numbers in your group accommodation booking can decrease by up to 15% up to 8 weeks before arrival without incurring a cancellation fee. Thereafter, any additional decreases in group numbers will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation charges (see above) will apply.
Your board basis can be changed (e.g. Full Board to B&B) up to 4 weeks before arrival without a cancellation charge. Changes made within 4 weeks of your arrival will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation charges (see below) will apply.
As a group leader making a group booking you are also accepting responsibility for the behaviour of all participants. There should be at least one responsible adult on duty at all times. This is to ensure all participants behave according to Cote Ghyll’s policies.

With the exception of exclusive hire and camping, guests at the Mill are NOT permitted to bring their own alcohol. We are fully licensed and sell a good selection of beers and wines.
To create a safe and welcoming atmosphere you may be asked to provide valid ID on check in. Acceptable forms of ID include passport, identity card, approved photo ID cards, driving licence, student ID card or credit cards that match the name on the booking. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation at our discretion.
If you are claiming a Youth Hostel Association membership discount, your membership will be checked on arrival. Guests who are not members cannot qualify for YHA discounts (although may be eligible for any Cote Ghyll discounts).
We reserve the right to repossess the building or ask a group to leave if their behaviour is unacceptable to us or our neighbours. No refund will be given.
A deposit is required to book a static or a seasonal pitch. Upon payment of the deposit, there is a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period from the date that the payment is received, after which the pitch deposit is non-refundable.
The act of paying the deposit means the remaining balance of the static or seasonal pitch fees will be due by 1st March. If full payment has not been made in full by this date, then we will assume your pitch booking is cancelled and any monies paid will not be refunded.
We make every effort to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
All customers, guests and visitors enter the site at their own risk. The park does not accept any responsibility for personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll, caused outside the reasonable control of the park owner.
Cote Ghyll is a rural Park so please be aware of natural hazards associated with the countryside. If you do notice anything, please bring it to our attention.
By making a payment or entering onto the Park you agree to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules or creating a nuisance, to leave the Park without refund.
The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
