1. General Site Rules
Noise
Disturbing music, conversation or other noise will not be tolerated at any time.
Children
- Are forbidden from playing in or around the toilet blocks.
- May not play with the vehicle access barrier.
- Parents are responsible to ensure that their children do not disturb other guests.
Fires and BBQs
- Absolutely NO FIRES on site.
- To prevent grass damage, barbecues must not be placed directly on the grass.
Games & equipment
- Soft balls only to be used on site.
- No games in close proximity to other tents or caravans.
- Absolutely no throwing of stones, sticks or other harmful projectiles.
- No skateboards (or similar) on the site roads.
- The use of motorised, ride on leisure equipment is not permitted.
New arrivals and site visitors
- All customers and visitors shall report directly to reception upon arrival.
- Maximum 6 people per pitch including day visitors.
- Maximum of 2 cars per pitch.
- Day visitors (when permitted) are chargeable as per our pricing policy.
- Visitors must depart by 7pm, last admittance is 5pm.
- Tourers/tents arrival time is from 1pm. Departure time is before 12pm noon.
- Holiday caravans/cottage arrival time is from 4pm. Departure time is before 10am.
Dogs
ALL dogs to be on a short lead at ALL times. Dog owners to clean up any dog mess immediately.
Gazebos
Gazebos are not permitted.
Sauna
- The act of using the sauna shows your agreement to comply with the CIMPSA rules (displayed at sauna entrance) for a safe and enjoyable sauna.
- Only those aged 16 years and older are permitted to use the sauna.
- No food or drink is permitted inside the sauna.
- Swimwear to be worn at all times and towels must be used for seating.
Spacing
For fire safety please leave a clear 3 metre gap between vehicles/awnings and the adjoining unit.
Security barrier
The barrier is locked at night.
Photography
We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional and training purposes. Please be aware that filming or photography including the use of drones may be in progress during your stay. Should you not wish to appear in any such material please notify us by email on or before your arrival at Cote Ghyll.
Caravan storage
If you plan to store your caravan at Cote Ghyll, your caravan must be insured against loss or damage whilst in storage or transit. The movement of stored caravans is done entirely at the owner’s risk. No liability for damage or loss will be accepted by Cote Ghyll Caravan Park.
All Bookings
Are accepted/declined at our discretion.
Holiday Insurance
We strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.
2. Booking Terms & Conditions – Touring, Camping & Bell Tents
Deposits
Please Note: We do not accept group bookings under any circumstances, even individually booked for the same dates. If we become aware of a group then each booking will be cancelled and guests will not be admitted to the Park.
We require a deposit for each booking, and we cannot hold reservations without a deposit. The minimum deposit required is:
- £40 per pitch; or pay in full on booking
- £70 per pitch for a reservation of 7 nights or more
Balance
The balance is due in full on arrival. You’ll need to pay this to gain admittance to the Park.

3. Booking Terms & Conditions – Holiday Caravans, Cottage and Apartments
Deposits
Please pay a minimum deposit of 25% of the total cost to make a firm, confirmed reservation. On receipt of the deposit, we will send to you a booking confirmation. If a booking is made within 8 weeks of your arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Balance
The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellation Policy

If the balance is not paid on the due date then the booking could be cancelled.
We strongly recommend that all guests take holiday insurance.
All refunds and transfers will be subject to a £10 admin fee.
Any booking made through a third party site such at Airbnb or booking.com is subject to the relevant third party terms and conditions and is not subject to Cote Ghyll terms and conditions. To cancel or amend such a booking, please contact the relevant third party directly.
4. Booking Terms & Conditions – Cote Ghyll Mill B&B
4.1 Bed & Breakfast
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of making the booking.
Cancellation terms
- For cancellations made with at least 7 days notice, transfer of dates or a full refund will be issued.
- For cancellations made with less than 7 days notice, no transfer or refund will be payable

4.2 Hire of Entire Mill
Who is responsible for an Entire Mill booking?
Each Entire Mill booking will have a nominated leader who is responsible for making and overseeing the booking, including financial and legal responsibility, discipline and behaviour. There should be at least one responsible adult on duty at all times to ensure all participants behave according to Cote Ghyll policies.
Payment

All Mill Guests
Alcohol
With the exception of Entire Mill bookings and Mill camping, guests at the Mill are NOT permitted to bring their own alcohol. We are fully licensed and sell a good selection of beers and wines.
Behaviour
We reserve the right to repossess the building or ask a group to leave if their behaviour is unacceptable to us or our neighbours. No refund will be given.
5. Booking Terms & Conditions – seasonal and static pitches
A deposit is required to book a static or a seasonal pitch. Upon payment of the deposit, there is a 14 day ‘cooling off’ period from the date that the payment is received, after which the pitch deposit is non-refundable.
The act of paying the deposit means the remaining balance of the static or seasonal pitch fees will be due by 1st March. If full payment has not been made in full by this date, then we will assume your pitch booking is cancelled and any monies paid will not be refunded.
6. All Guests
Complaints
We make every effort to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. However, if you feel you have a reason to complain about your holiday, please inform us during your stay so we can take the appropriate action. We cannot help you if we do not know about your complaint. If you do not report your complaint until after your departure, you accept that it will make it harder to investigate or rectify your complaint after your stay has ended.
General
All customers, guests and visitors enter the site at their own risk. The park does not accept any responsibility for personal injury, inconvenience, loss of property or damage to property which may occur when in use, in transit, in storage or when staying at Cote Ghyll, caused outside the reasonable control of the park owner.
Cote Ghyll is a rural Park so please be aware of natural hazards associated with the countryside. If you do notice anything, please bring it to our attention.
By making a payment or entering onto the Park you agree to abide by the Site Rules and these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to ask any persons not observing the Terms & Conditions or Site Rules or creating a nuisance, to leave the Park without refund. We do not accept bookings from or allow anyone to stay on our park who is listed on the Violent and Sex Offenders Register (or any register which supersedes this). By making a booking, you are confirming that no one in your party is on this Register.
The Site Rules and Terms and Conditions may change from time to time at our discretion.
