Cod Beck Reservoir

Just minutes walk from Cote Ghyll will take you to the stunning Cod Beck Reservoir. The entire circular path around the reservoir is wide, well surfaced and mostly flat.
The reservoir supports Brown Trout, Grayling, Bullhead, Eel, Stone loach, Minnow and Lamphrey. The moorland around the reservoir is a designated ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’ known to be a vital area for Common Toads who hibernate there.
The Lyke Wake Walk starts opposite the northern end of the reservoir.
Campfires, camping, fishing and swimming are prohibited for public safety.
