Introducing Larch Block – our stunning, brand-new facilities block that’s taken the place of the former House Block (for those who remember!). After a full winter of hard work, we’re thrilled to unveil a space that’s been built from the ground up and thoughtfully designed with your comfort and needs in mind.
Step inside and enjoy modern privacy shower and wash cubicles, user-controlled power showers with luxurious underfloor heating, hair and hand dryers, USB and shaver points. Families will love the dedicated family shower room, featuring a tots toilet, main toilet, temperature-controlled shower, and baby changing area — perfect for making life easier with little ones.
But that’s not all… relax and unwind in our brand-new sauna room, pamper your pup at the dog washing and grooming station, and take advantage of our sparkling new pot washing facility.

Our brand-new sauna room in Larch Block is now open — the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. Designed with comfort and tranquillity in mind, it adds a touch of luxury to your stay.
Our sauna is purpose built, hand crafted of western red cedar with an electric sauna heater. It comfortably seats up to 10 people and access is directly from the ladies and gents shower rooms within Larch Block, meaning that it is a unisex sauna. Cedar benches either side of the sauna are at two different heights to achieve different temperature sensations.
To maintain exclusivity, we offer the whole sauna on a private booking basis. To use the sauna, you must book in advance at reception.
The sauna is bookable in reception. Book a 45 min session from 9.15am , the last session starting 7.00pm.
Hire charge for the whole sauna (up to 10 people is £10) mid week and term time, or £15 during weekends and school holiday periods.
Up to 30 mins prior to the start of your session, visit reception to collect your pair of key fobs for which a £20 returnable deposit (cash or card) is required.

Up to 1 hour from the end of your session, visit reception to return your pair of key fobs and for your deposit to be returned. Please note, deposits will not be returned if fobs are returned after 1 hour.
The act of using the sauna shows your agreement to comply with the CIMPSA rules for a safe and enjoyable sauna
Only those aged 16 years and older are permitted to use the sauna.
No food or drink is permitted inside the sauna.
Swimwear to be worn at all times and towels must be used for seating.
Our new dog washing and grooming station in Larch Block is perfect for keeping your four-legged friends clean and comfortable during their stay. It features temperature-controlled water to ensure a safe and pleasant wash, and there’s even a hair dryer to help your dog dry off. Designed for practicality and ease after a muddy walk or an adventurous day outdoors.
Our 5-star rated shower block includes privacy shower cubicles, showers with underfloor heating, hair and hand dryers, and shaver points. It features accessible toilet and shower rooms with ambulant facilities in both the ladies’ and gents’ areas, along with vanity units and mirrors. For parents with young children, the family shower room offers a main toilet, a bath, shower and baby changing facility.
Designed with ‘mini’ campers in mind, our two children’s play areas provide a safe haven for your little ones to let off steam and create their own holiday memories. The play areas are enclosed, with a safe sand ground covering and fabulous climbing equipment, swings and slides. The adjacent stream provides the perfect place to paddle and play on warmer days.
We now have a dedicated playing field for those football kick arounds and outdoor games. Please enquire at reception on your arrival for more information.
After a day walking, biking or climbing, there’s no need to worry about coming back wet or muddy. The laundry has one washing machine and one dryer as well as iron and ironing board. There is also a drying cabinet for outdoor boots and coats.
The pot wash area has four sinks and drainers.
The brand new, purpose-built shop located at the reception area is well-stocked, with wide a variety of foods, drinks, toys and souvenirs as well as other household items. From fresh pastries and milk, to frozen foods and cleaning essentials, there’s no need to jump in the car – you’ll find we’ve got all your requirements covered.
