May is already upon us and the season is in full swing.

We’ve had a busy start to 2023 and our new wardens, Cathy and Kelly, have already settled in well and are getting stuck in with the rest of the team. If you see them around and about the Park be sure to stop and say hello.
Jan and Pauline are of course back for the season and ready to help out and welcome you to Cote Ghyll. Down at the Mill the team have been working hard, and if you have been down there yet you will see that all that hard work is paying off. The Mill has already been busy with groups and schools, and the apartments are proving to be a great addition to our accommodation offering. We now have four fully fitted self-catering holiday apartments available year round for short breaks, weekend retreats and couples getaways as well as longer term rental.
We were really proud to have retained our Visit England 5-star rating for another year, awarded for consistently high standards around the park, which the whole team work hard to achieve, and it means that our guests have the best possible time with us, confident that they are in the most comfortable surroundings maintained to the highest possible standards. The awards don’t stop there, The Mill was awarded 8.7 out of 10 on Booking.com, and we also received our 5 Gold Pennant from the AA for quality. A true testament to the whole team.
Our fleet of static holiday homes have had a refresh, with a brand new model being added earlier this year. Holiday caravans offer everything you need and more for the perfect family holiday. Sleeping up to 6, each holiday home offers that little bit of luxury, so whether you’re holidaying as a couple or with family, we have the perfect retreat for you. The open-plan living areas are bright, airy and fully furnished to ensure your comfort, providing a true home-from-home feel.
Cote Ghyll Holiday Cottage is also perfect for those intimate family breaks, or days away with close friends. Sleeping up to 8 in 4 bedrooms, the cottage offers a modern, bright and airy accommodation, and with a fully fitted kitchen including washer/dryer. Open all year-round, our stone-built cottage has a log burning stove, games room, two private gardens with outside seating, BBQ and your very own private hot tub! The cottage is even dog friendly.
Work at the Mill has been ongoing for much of this year, resulting in the addition of our fantastic new Atrium, new reception area and office space for the team. We have created an amazing light and airy feel around the Mill, with lots of natural light and a fresh atmosphere. It is certainly worth a look down there if you are staying at Cote Ghyll, and don’t forget we offer take away food from the Mill Kitchen, take a look online at the menu and to place your orders for collection: https://food.coteghyll.com/
We recently had our new defibrillator fitted, it’s located on the fence between the caravan park and the Mill so when you come to stay at Cote Ghyll make yourself familiar with its location. Of course we hope that there will never be the requirement to use it, but it is an essential addition to the Park, and we recently undertook staff training so that we have a team on site, trained and ready to help out in the event of an emergency.
We are looking forward to the rest of the season ahead, our shop is fully stocked, and the team are always on hand for any questions that you might have. We very much look forward to welcoming you to Cote Ghyll this summer.
Team Cote Ghyll.
